1) - so the first step, perhaps, is understanding the what and why of the difficulty which triggers the cry or call.

like if one understands the full truth behind anything, then its significance is available. it makes sense. it is justified.

being understood one realizes it is the limit in ones capacity to deal with the difficulty that is the "problem" though in reality it is no problem at all, for it is the reverse side of the divine flowering. It is the dark ground and seed required for the positives manifestation. being so, the difficulty is the riddled call for progress. though sometimes it is not that one must handle the problem, it is to get at its essence or its reason for being, the high goal it is a first movement towards.

2) the next step, if it can be called that, in knowing of the troubled symphony amongst the various parts of the being, the inept disorder that culminates in the incapacity to handle the difficulty, from that comes the right organization of the being which is to bring about the capacity.

otherwise there can be a call above, and an opening below, an aspiration below, a concentrated effort, a prayer from below, a faith that patiently waits for the true answer. Or a entry within, when external lights are blocked, to find the being who knows within, the guide, the Soul.
